Group bookings for 2024

We plan to maintain our 2022 prices for a third year throughout 2024.

Our charges for Paddlesport Activities generally apply to a 75 to 90 minute activity sessions, rates vary depending on the organisation booking, as the charges applied to us vary by the type of client visiting the site and the instructor ratios we need to apply.

Activity bookings are based upon the requirement placed on us by the regulator to operate within reccomended instructor to participant ratios which means the group size with any one instructor is 8 people, therefore to obtain the best efficiencies when making bookings, we encourage you to organise participants in to multiples of 8.

Please note that a group of 8 can not accommodate a 9th person and by way of an example; if you have 10 people we would classify this as two groups each requiring a separate instructor. The charge applicable would be for two groups with the per head cost rising accordingly, so there is real benefit if you can attend in multiples of eight people.

Charitable Organisations like Scouts and Guides

First activity = £120 (£15 a head)

Second activity £220 (£27.50 a head)

Three activities or more up to a 5 hour visit £300 (£37.50 a head).

Schools and Sports Clubs

First activity £140 (£17.50 a head)

Second activity £260 (£32.50 a head)

Three activities or more up to a 5 hour visit £360 (£45 a head).

Parties and Corporate Clients

Second activity £300 (£37.50 a head)

Three activities or more up to a 5 hour visit £420 (£52.50 a head).

You can expect to pay less per head for activities if you are a visiting group with your own qualified activity instructors, though we require all such instructors to attend one of our Paddlesport Leader Basic Training Days. Groups led by their own qualified leaders, operating within the correct ratios, can visit as often as they wish for the flat rate of £8 a head per activity per visit.

Courses

The difference between courses and activities is that courses can be accessed by an individual. All courses operate on a lower instructor to participant ratio of 1instructor to 6 students.

We offer a variety of courses to cater for varying client needs with most courses run during the school holidays in the afternoons between 1.30pm and 4.30pm and cost £45 each.

Holiday camps run all day from 9.30am to 3.30pm and provide a multi activity paddlesport experince with prices varying between £50 and £60 a day.

People wishing to obtain Instructor qualifications should attend our instructor development courses such as the Paddlesport Safety and Rescure Course (PSRC), Recreational Outdoor First Aid (Rec-1) and Paddlesport Assistant and the Paddlesport Instructor course. Most courses are full day courses and cost between £60 and £125 a day. Full details of courses available can be found on our website courses page.
