In association with HAF Harrow we are able to offer a drop-in paddlesports single day experience for secondary school aged children.

Drop In activities include kayaking, rafting, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding with the only requirement being that participants are required to be water confident and able to swim 25 meters.

Sessions can be booked on Monday 28th August, Tuesday 29th August and Weds 30th August – arriving at 9.30 am and finishing at 3.30 pm.

You are welcome to just turn up on any of the three days, however, to avoid disappointment (with places limited to 18 young people each day), we strongly encourage you to book a place beforehand by completing the application process below as priority will be given to those booking in advance.

About the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme

The HAF Programme is managed by hyoung Harrow for Harrow Council and organises holiday activities for children and young people from Reception to Year 11, during the school holidays (Winter, Easter, and Summer) offering a range of activities in Harrow, including some specialist SEND provisions. If you want to enrol on any other activity, please contact us via the following link: The HAF Programme

Some youngsters use the Drop In days as an opportunity to try a range of different sports to see what they might try when undertaking the physical section of their Duke of Edinburgh Awards whilst others may use it to get some practice in before a family holiday where they might try similar activities. Some just join in the fun to get out the house and have a day on the water, whatever your motivation, you will have a great time on one of our one day camps. We life jackets, waterproofs and wetsuits if required all you need to do is turn up with a change of clothes, towel, swim shorts, wet shoes, a t-shirt and a fleece jumper incase it gets cold.

Each young person will be provided with a hot lunch or may bring their own packed lunch for each day, and we will supply hot and cold drinks and snacks throughout the day. These courses were so popular in 2022 that we are running this and other longer duration courses in August 2023.

With places limited to 18 places each day, be sure to book your place early to avoid disappointment.
