Dragon Boat Racing (651)

If you have attended our dragon boat training course you should now be profficient in handling and racing a dragon boat.

Each racing team will be entered in to the 2026 Dragon Boat Series Competition with their best time recorded. At the end of the season, the team with the fastest time will be awarded the coveted Bury Lake DB Race Trophy.

To improve a teams race time, multiple opportunities are available to practice techniques on our 250m or our 1km circular course.

Dragon boat race improvement attracts a fixed price application fee of £150 per team of ten using one boat during a 2 hour visit. All teams will be allocated a CST Coach to helm the boat and a CST Instructor to set the pace on the drum.

Complete the form making the payment of £150 (£15 each for a team of 10) and provide contact details and we will contact you to agree a date for your practice and race, avoiding other lake watersports activities.
