Our Scout water activities day gives Scouts the chance to experience five water activities to earn their Level 1 Nautical Skills and Paddlesports badges. The event takes place at Bury Lake in Rickmansworth. Scouts will take part in canoeing, kayaking, Rafting, Stand up Paddleboarding and Dragon boating over the six hour visit under the direction of qualified instructors. All equipment is provided. Please note any young person who wishes to attend must be able to swim a minimum of 50m or be water confident.

Water Activity Days are a lot of fun, with each specific day adjusted to suit the age demographic. 

We supply wetsuits, waterproofs and all the safety equipment you need, all you need to do is turn up with your towel, swim shorts, wet shoes, a rash vest, a warm jumper that you can put on at lunchtime if you are feeling cold.

Each young person will be need to bring a packed lunch as we will only supply hot and cold drinks as required. Full joining instructions will accompany a request to complete an online consent and next of kin form before the young person can book. This information request will be part of the booking process. course booking closes two weeks before the course date. 

Our Scout water activities day is £45 to attend and is limited to 64 places, so be sure to book early.
