CST Instructor Management Course – Saturday 20th June 2026 (628)
A classroom based course for experienced CST Paddlesports Instructors providing an indepth look at how we can best deliver paddlesports whilst minimising our impact on other lake users.
CST instructors should already be familiar and well versed in our operating processes and methods and be delivering good paddlesports activities, this training takes Instructor development up a notch and analyses the problems that the organisation could be exposed to and looks at solutions and better ways or working to assure safe and fun activity for everyone.
We cover problems that might be experienced on busier days with multiple groups, doing simultaneous activities and analyse the impact that our paddlesport activities may have on other lake users.
With popularity for paddlesports continuing to grow, it is not uncommon to have in excess of 100 people competing for limited facilities with the weather and wind conditions impacting where activties might safely take place. Whilst this couses does not necessarily provide all the answers, it does analyse the processes, methods and restrictions that could affect operational outcomes.

Over winter discussions have resulted in some facility improvements and allocation of water space to certain activities, allowing all activities to have safe space, the course will help candidates better understand the impact on our clients within the common water space corridors.
Booking for this course is now open, with you required to complete the declarations up front to save administration time later. Places are limited to 8 CST Instructors who will each recieve a full course fee rebate on the course.
